Project Description
IBM Information Archive (IA) is IBM's next-generation information archive and retention platform. It is designed to securely store virtually any type of content, and to help enterprises large and small manage data in order to reduce cost, manage risk, and address clients information retention needs. IA is the first data retention solution to offer a choice of data protection levels to meet multiple archiving requirements, including business, legal, and regulatory requirements. Multiple access methods using industry-standard protocols such as NFS, CIFS, DAFS, and others, will provide a wide range of options for storing and accessing data.
